Vitiligo Study in Mississauga, Canada
Dr. Heather Boon Ph.D and Dr. Orest Szczuko (who is practicing as Naturopathic in Mississauga) are conducting a study on vitiligo with the collaboration of Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy which is a department of University of Toronto and this study is a part of Graduate Studies. A dermatologist and a pediatrician are also the part of this study. Research Ethics Board (formed by University of Toronto) and Health Canada has approved this study.
For the vitiligo treatment, they are actually in need of some participants for a trial of their research to make a useful medicine for vitiligo treatment. From the month of May to August 2009, the team need to treat around 12 teenagers whom ages should be between 12 to eighteen years. The researchers will work on their research in Mississauga Ontario, Canada.
The participants will be given one herb pill twice in a day. Participants will be examined 5 times during that study period in the office at Mississauga and this research will be consists on a time of 12 weeks of the summer. All this process of the research will be free of cost like visits, herbs and treatment will not be charged to the participants. In addition to that the participants may have their vitiligo copped with.
